RUOHAN’s Spring/Summer 2025 unfolded across three levels of Lafayette Anticipation, with 42 looks accompanied by 22 musicians and embodied by 21 models during Paris Fashion Week, giving us a meditative experience, inviting viewers to find beauty in the spaces between, to listen to the silence, and to perceive the unseen.
The collection is a meditation on difference and coexistence, delving into the interactions between items, structures, people, and emotions. It strikes a balance between repetition and opposition, improvisation versus classical formality, and the poetic tension between symmetry and asymmetry. Straight lines intersect curves, and simplicity converses with complexity, resulting in a narrative that goes beyond fashion—an interplay of relationships.
Silhouettes are inspired by musical instruments and evolve into dynamic interpretations of the musical stave, exploring positive and negative space, harmony, and discord. Intricate pleating and unique draping suggest the complexities of a musical score, visually representing the invisible bonds that unite us all.
