Balkhan Fashion Week set in Sofia, Bulgaria spread across three days in varied locations throughout the capital for their Metropolitan Edition. This season also invited four rising talents from Istituto Europeo di Design (IED): Aleksandra Kachulkova, Augusto Berretta, Carlo Cimmino and Rebecca Paganin who showcased on the last night.
Twenty-three year old menswear designer Augusto Berretta caught our eye. He has an unmistakable dark style found in his collection “Tituba” a new and modern vision of the witches in Salem. Other student collections included the best from New Bulgarian University and National Academy of Arts highlighting Balkhan Fashion Week’s interest in young talent.
