YALU 1972 debuted at Paris Fashion Week with three collections: Urban Wild, Elegant, and Zero Pressure. Celebrities such Bai Bing and Li Meng were in the front row, marking a huge milestone for the brand. This debut comes after YALU’s presence at Milan Fashion Week in 2023. The Paris collection saw the brand combine Eastern aesthetics with Western architecture, paying homage to the spirit of discovery and breaching design limits, much like China’s old maritime past.
Designer Tu Bowen for YALU, continues to innovate with its all-weather down jackets, made from innovative materials such as NASA-grade textiles. The line incorporates cutting-edge aerogel technology and unique thermal systems. Throughout its lengthy history, YALU has become not just a fashion leader but also a cultural exchange symbol, bridging Eastern and Western aesthetics in the down jacket globe.
