Full of playfulness and sophistication, Zomer, Dutch for Summer, made their Paris Fashion Week debut. Founded by best friends Danial Aitouganov and stylist Imruh Asha (fashion director at Dazed magazine), the two first met as teens growing up in Amsterdam. Almost a decade ago, when taking their first steps into the fashion industry, the two creatives toyed with the idea of starting a brand but decided to go it alone first and regroup further down the line.

For Spring Summer 2024 there is a sense of joy and freedom filled with warm and vibrant colors on asymmetrical design details and the odd detachable element with a sculptural touch. London-based designer Ibby Njoya created prints as well as collages that nod to art influences. Photographer Jora Zaria captures the details backstage and on the runway for a closer look.

Before their debut, Zomer caught the eye of Comme des Garçons-owned organization Dover Street market joining DSMP’s stable of 12 brands including ERL, Airei, Honey F–king Dijon, and Vaquera and Weinsanto who also showed this fashion week.
