Back in June when the record label of Moodoïd invited us for a karaoké in the basement of a bar in Paris to celebrate the release of his latest video featuring Japanese superstar Kom_I  from Wednesday Campanella. Pablo Padovani is the leader of musical and visual project Moodoïd. After a psychedelic and garage pop-rock record out in 2014, he’s back since several weeks with a second LP Cité Champagne where he teamed up with Pierre Rousseau (Paradis) as well as Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) who mixed several tracks.

Their video “Langage”  was filmed in Tokyo and it was an amazing experience for Pablo Padovani. “He was totally jet-lagged as we work a lot to have a locally based team to make this happened and we are all super proud of it!” says Laurence Muller, the manager of Moodoïd. “Pablo & Kom_I were meant to work together as for me they have the same ideas about how to develop their sound and visuals!”.

This collaboration turned into a friendship and they wished they could work together in the future as Kom_I  is really massive in her country and need to be developed in France. So they hope this track and its video will make something happen for her in Europe. Moodoïd will be defending his second album on tour all over the world and will be in Paris next November, so make sure to be there!
