Atlanta rapper J.I.D (Interscope Records/Dreamville Records) has released a music video for his track Off Da Zoinkys off his critically acclaimed project DiCaprio 2. Directed by Scott Lazer, the video was inspired by the opening sequence from one of J.l.D’s favorite films “The Long Goodbye” (1973).
A cinephile at his core, J.I.D tapped friend and actor Ansel Elgort to bring the scene to life while the rapper makes cameos throughout. The short piece is another look into the cerebrally creative mind of J.I.D, who also recently participated in the new Reebok’s Alter The Icon campaign.
