Espero Atelier is an organization that teaches French sewing and embroidery skills to refugees from the fashion industry, aiming to facilitate their integration into luxury houses. Photographer Denzil Jacobs takes us for a closer look ahead of the show.
Deadstock fabrics from luxury houses along with salvaged materials were used to create each unique piece in the collection by Espero Atelier with Acevedo that drew inspiration from Musée d’Orsay’s artwork and architecture and later making up the backdrop for the presentation creating a bold statement days away from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
