My journey as a designer began because of the deep emotional impact that getting dressed has on me. I still think about the wearer and how they will connect emotionally when trying on my clothing.
This season, I wanted to focus on the act of getting dressed by inviting friends to try on my Fall/Winter collection and emote/react to the experience by physically writing their feelings on a canvas of white dresses, and inviting the audience to join in.
Getting dressed is an experience that is fraught, exciting, and vulnerable, and that feeling of potential is what fuels me every day. -Batsheva Hay
