Dogme: Hooligans

Cozirschii recreates what he remembers from his childhood, the spirit, and the aesthetic of hooligans in the late nineties mid-noughties. “My memory contained the movies I saw like “Le Haine” and ‘’Romper Stomper’’. As well as what I saw on the streets of Chisinau…And nowadays mostly when you walk on the streets and see guys dressed up like this you don’t have to be afraid or be ready to defend yourself, now it’s a part of mass culture and fashion, most of the stuff that we were afraid or had an embarrassing feeling now becomes our inherent part of the culture.”
