Glamorous goth-diva Mathilde Fernandez released two EP these past years. “Live In Las Vegas” in 2016 where she expressed a dark vision of an American dream falling apart. Then in 2018, she came back with “Hyperstition” where she painted a portrait of a hypersensitive character. A clairvoyant but paranoid incarnation kind of Joan of Arc 2.0, a video game heroine.

With an explosive kick and dreamlike soundscapes, Mathilde, is working on some  side projects including her duet band with Paul Seul from Parisian crew Casual Gabberz, their “hard dance” band is called “ascendant vierge” with their first track “Influenceur”, an addictiveXtatic dancing track was the summer banger of i-D France.

On the other side, she’s also working with her longtime artistic collaborator Cécile di Giovanni for an exclusive performance cycle called “ENSEMBLE”premiering on November 28th, for one month at the Palais de Tokyo. But in the meantime, check her latest single “Chanteuse de Guerre”! -by Ivica Mamedy
