Mauricio Nardi styled the monochromatic looks in sophisticated forms, quirky tailoring, elemental colors and strong shoulders from the collection traces a history of Georgian fashion from early 12th century to modern-day Georgia.
“Every traditional costume reflects regions history, identity and the way of life. They transcend culture, time and geography. However, fashion is changing and evolving according to needs and values of time. In the last five years, Georgian youth has experienced a dramatic change in beliefs, morals, and lifestyles. In this collection, I wanted to explore links between collective, historic identity and character of individual, modern-day Georgian and how it can be reflected in fashion.“ Explained creative director Irakli Rusadze.
