The mythical Crazy Horse, founded in 1951, is known for their iconic stripping shows with Dita Von Teese, Carmen Electra, Aria Cascaval, Arielle Dombasle or Pamela Anderson as some of the big names to step on stage, but one thing they would never take off are a pair of killer heels. Think of it as the ultimate accessory, tool, or power move. While many of us have spent the last few years getting comfortable more and more of us are trading in our sneakers for something that is, well, more sexy.
The cabaret has indeed had the pleasure of welcoming just about every big name that has passed through Paris in the last one hundred years and more recently Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Lily-Rose Depp, Chris Hemsworth, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner… They can now add Maison Ernest to the list having staged their first show during Paris Fashion Week including a surprise music performance by Victor Solf. The house is one of the oldest in Paris for shoes having been found in 1904. With ultra high heels created by the Artistic Director Isabelle Bordji, she is taking Maison Ernest into a new era making a luxury choice for all women. Freedom of choice, materials selected, the secret savoir-faire of the small family owned manufacturers, quality of services, comfortable creations, a vision of luxury with a new direction to “allow you to dream by the quality of the products and their history, and not driven by prices that are often unreasonably high in this world”…
Isabelle was born in the warmth of the South of France. Trained by the Studio Berçot, she continues her apprenticeship with great names. Mother of three children, Isabelle became, within Maison Ernest in 2012, an atypical and unclassifable designer refusing to accept the diktats of fashion.
So, are you ready for the return of the heel?!
