Ivan Frolov, the young designer behind the label FROLOV, brought together the spirit of the early noughties set in “the club” of the era in Kyiv. His collection Diva 2000 is based on the traditional aesthetics of the intelligent provocation and devoted to the period of the 2000s and its main heroines – divas, women of marvelous charisma, strength and beauty. Many of the models were the same ones that dominated the catwalk in 2000.
The collection was full of glitter, glamour, leopard print, crystals and paillettes, deep V neckline, fringe and cowboy boots, lace and gilded fabric. All this represents the quintessence of the main stylistic techniques of the 2000s. The key balaclava, made from a weightless fabric and decorated as makeup, stole the show.
