Romance, poetry, sensualness… These aspects are what the new forte_forte “Folie, Mon Amour!” collection brings to the fashionscape at Milan Fashion Week with an immersive installation.

You can immediately sense the free spirit aura and conscious femininity the second you step into their boudoir-inspired presentation. The passion and care Giada and Paolo Forte have for their brand and message were instantly translated through the incredibly hand-curated presentation.

Sticking to their roots, all the pieces and fabrics are made in Italy, with focused craftsmanship and delicate care for every detail shown. “The idea of this collection is to bring a ball of joyness and delicacy and poetry to fashion nowadays,” Giada explained. With details including vanilla lace, vintage inspired designs, pure silk, hand knit crochet, and even a dress inspired by the red lipstick of the 1930s. Many times, fabrics are elevated and even more eye-catching with patterns such as the “Noeud d’Argent” print. Each garment carries an expressive freedom that simply can’t be replicated. The whole collection transforms fashion into an intimate and timeless narrative.

Forte_Forte was founded in 2002 by Giada Forte and Paolo Forte in Sarcedo, a small town in the Veneto region of Italy, known for its manufacturing expertise. Giada studied knitwear design, while Paolo studied economics. Together they came together to make the perfect duo of skills that go hand in hand. They built the brand from the ground up, starting with a small collection of hand finished T-shirts. 23 years later, forte_forte has boutiques in Milan, Paris, Rome, London, Tokyo, Seoul, Madrid, Puerto Banus, Cannes, Los Angeles, and Forte dei Marmi. Each store reflects the area, adapting to its surroundings and giving each visitor a unique experience. – Ryan Cassel
