Backstage at Baum und Pferdgarten SS19 shot on 35mm by Marc Medina during Copenhagen Fashion Week

Quirkiness and prints make Baum und Pferdgarten always stand out at Copenhagen Fashion Week, this season was no exception. Never color shy like some cities, other strands of brand DNA continue to make map out the collection with a sport feel that doesn’t feel out of place amongst the romantic and sensual silhouettes. The vintage vibe feels like something out of a Sofia Coppola flic.

Flower prints in water-colourish blue, green, purple, and yellow, are reminiscent of the upscale second-hand settings, the show itself looked as though it was staged in an opulent gallery garnering a crowd peeking through the window. Checks, Prince of Wales, retro collars and gingham check brought a slight English affair, but it was the slipdress that reminded us that some trends of the late 90s we will see into 2019.
