Backstage at Astrid Andersen SS18 shot on disposable camera at Copenhagen Fashion Week
This was the second time for us to catch Astrid Andersen in her native Denmark and marks the second time for her to show her womenswear collection at Copenhagen Fashion. This season takes the archetypical Safari theme as referenced throughout the history of fashion in various guises and turns its natural curiosity into a personal quest to discover unfamiliar territory for the brand’s aesthetics. Andersen has also collaborated with Monies, the capsule features unique Brazilian mountain crystals combined with Acacia wood discs from the Philippines – handcrafted and designed at the Monies Copenhagen harbour front workshop especially for Astrid Andersen.
