Mexican Summer, one of our favourite indie labels, is presenting the Ariel Archives an ambitious project, unveiling the many treasures that Ariel has recorded during the most prolific phase of his artistic development from 98-‘03 many recorded on tape. The comprehensive and retrospective collection sees reissues and unreleased works.

Rapidly evolving from raw proto-punk experiences to adventurous home-made recordings exploring a broad continuum of pop music, Ariel Pink has unveiled an inventive sound and image that will prove to be an important influence.

Chapter 6 and 8 videos are odd, quirky but most of all catchy.
