Abigail Ajobi just made her London Fashion Week debut with her Fall Winter 2021 collection entitled ‘Those Who don’t Hear… Must Feel’.
The luxury streetwear brand focuses on sustainability both in our environment and community, whilst highlighting the importance of cultural awareness. Fall-Winter explores the racial stereotypes that have evolved in the media and the judicial system throughout British history.
Ajobi who is a menswear design graduate of UAL. Abigail was born into a Nigerian family of Yoruba origin and raised in the urban UK city of London. Growing up Abigail was surrounded by a mix of rich cultures which influenced her understanding of life and as a result her work. With many of her themes being based around culture and race.
Not only is this a fashion brand with limited edition pieces, but Part of the profits from this collection will also support the work of Black Minds Matter UK; a charity that nurtures the mental health of the black community by providing free therapy sessions and resources.
