Anna Sui’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection draws inspiration from the legendary Mabel Dodge Luhan ranch in Taos—a creative haven that welcomed artists from D.H. Lawrence to Georgia O’Keefe, and later revived by Dennis Hopper as a countercultural hub. Echoing the spirit of places like the Hotel Chelsea, the collection channels the romance of artistic refuge and bohemian freedom.

Soft prairie shapes came in Ombre Sunset Stripes, Desert Bloom prints, and Calico Jersey, layered with mesh tees, wrap skirts, wide-leg pants, and bold Sedona Sunburst knits. Terracotta Stripes and romantic crochet pieces grounded the lineup, while delicate lingerie knits and hand-crocheted shawls added a grunge-tinged femininity.

Lavender Plaid appeared in aprons, babydoll dresses, and playful mixes with denim. Pueblo Deco jacquards, lace-trimmed chiffons, and Victorian jackets in brocade nodded to folklore and vintage romance. Slip dresses, pajama sets, and peignoirs in chiffon, lace, and velvet built a dreamy layering story in blush, indigo, and twilight hues. Closing the show, a sculptural 3-D Rose Lace set encapsulated Sui’s vision of a whimsical, free-spirited utopia.
